Substance Abuse Services
Addiction Severity Index
The Self Help Center offers Addiction Severity Index (ASI) services on a one-on-one basis through our certified counselors. Our ASI assessments provide a comprehensive evaluation of an individual’s substance use and related challenges, helping to determine the appropriate level of care and support needed. Through a confidential and personalized approach, our counselors assess key areas of life affected by addiction, including medical status, employment, mental health, and family relationships. This service is designed to guide individuals toward effective treatment planning and recovery solutions tailored to their unique needs.
Level .05 (DUI class)
Drug/Alcohol Education and Cannabis Education are awareness classes offered after an ASI recommendation or mandated by the court for DUI, alcohol, or substance-related offenses. The class helps clients understand what led them to this point, the risks and costs of a DUI, and better insights into their situations involving alcohol or drugs. It is an 8-hour session held every other month at our center. Call for details.
Level 1.5 Outpatient Therapy
This program offers a supportive environment and the particular assistance needed to understand addiction and the impact it has on the client, as well as those around them. The group is designed to help clients identify unresolved issues, acquire tools to help in recovery, and work on those areas in life affected by past addiction. The group meets once a week for two hours for 12 weeks (24 hours total).
Level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)
Intensive Outpatient Treatment offers a supportive staff to help clients understand addiction and participate in recovery in a safe environment. IOP focuses on understanding addiction as well as working on acquiring new skills and understanding during recovery. IOP classes are three hours, three days a week for a total of 8 weeks (72 hours).
